Checkpoints and registration<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

All six rou\u00adtes start from Par\u00adtil\u00adle Home Guard hall, and you will pass seve\u00adral check\u00adpoints along the way. You must sign in at each check\u00adpoint. Sig\u00adning in ser\u00adves both as proof that you have follo\u00adwed the rou\u00adte and as a safe\u00adty mea\u00adsu\u00adre \u2013 this way we know that eve\u00adry\u00ado\u00adne is accounted for and that no one has been left behind. Here\u2019s how it works, from regi\u00adstra\u00adtion to the finish line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Register when you arrive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you arri\u00adve at the Home Guard hall, you regis\u00adter your par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion. You have alre\u00ada\u00addy regis\u00adte\u00adred and paid onli\u00adne \u2013 or you can regis\u00adter on the spot<\/a> and pay via Swish or in cash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you arri\u00adve on Fri\u00adday to stay over\u00adnight, you can regis\u00adter then. If you arri\u00adve on Satur\u00adday, you regis\u00adter in the mor\u00adning upon arri\u00adval, and if you arri\u00adve on Sun\u00adday, you do so on Sun\u00adday mor\u00adning. You only need to regis\u00adter once \u2013 once you\u2019ve done so on one day, you don\u2019t need to do it again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety briefing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Befo\u00adre the start, the march gene\u00adral will hold a short safe\u00adty bri\u00ade\u00adfing at the Home Guard hall. Atten\u00addan\u00adce at the safe\u00adty bri\u00ade\u00adfing is com\u00adpul\u00adso\u00adry. See the time\u00adta\u00adb\u00adle<\/a> for when it is held for the dif\u00adfe\u00adrent rou\u00adtes on the vari\u00adous days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 40 km on Saturday starts with a bus transfer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are wal\u00adking the 40 km on Satur\u00adday<\/a>, you must board a trans\u00adfer bus imme\u00addi\u00ada\u00adtely after the safe\u00adty bri\u00ade\u00adfing to take you to Tuve Ice Rink. The\u00adre is no time for anyt\u00adhing else between the safe\u00adty bri\u00ade\u00adfing and the bus trans\u00adfer, so make sure you have used the toi\u00adlet before\u00adhand and bring eve\u00adryt\u00adhing you need with you to the safe\u00adty briefing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each bus can car\u00adry 50 peop\u00adle. As soon as a bus is full, it will depart for Tuve. The last bus lea\u00adves from the Home Guard hall at 7.00 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The 40 km race on Satur\u00adday starts at Tuve Ice Rink. All other races start at the Home Guard hall. You are con\u00adsi\u00adde\u00adred to have star\u00adted once you have chec\u00adked in at the first check\u00adpoint, which is loca\u00adted at the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Checkpoints along the route<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The\u00adre is a check\u00adpoint eve\u00adry ten kilo\u00admetres along the rou\u00adte, and you must check in at each one. Here you will find cold water and fruit juice, as well as hot water for a cup of cof\u00adfee, tea or hot choco\u00adla\u00adte. The\u00adre are pick\u00adles and some\u00adti\u00admes a tasty tre\u00adat. If you are wal\u00adking the 40 km rou\u00adte, you can also get help with sore feet at one of the later checkpoints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You cross the finish line at the Home Guard hall. To be counted as having finished, you must sign in one last time at the final check\u00adpoint the\u00adre. Wit\u00adhout this, the march is not recor\u00added as completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
