Parking

Are you coming by car? If so, you can park right next to the Home Guard hall in Partille. See the green area in the satellite image.

As parking is on a field, it is essential that it has not rained in the days leading up to the event, nor that it rains during the Elfsborgsmarschen. If we are unlucky with the weather, we will instead move the car park to various locations within a kilometre of the Home Guard hall. Our parking attendants will then be stationed along Lexbyvägen to direct you – keep an eye out for them.

If you do not see any attendants along the road, but only when you arrive at the Home Guard hall, parking will take place as planned on the field north of Lexbyvägen. The attendants will be there to welcome you.

With more than 300 registered participants, there will be a queue to enter the car park. Please therefore arrive in good time and carpool if you can. The parking attendants will be on site from 05.45.

Please note that you must not drive up the access road to the Home Guard hall or use the car parks adjacent to it. Nor may you park on the gravel area between Lexbyvägen and the Western Main Line, south-west of the Home Guard hall, which has been used in previous years. See the red areas on the satellite image. These spaces are reserved for the organising committee’s vehicles.
