Saturday 20 km: South of Partille

Description

The rou­te takes you from Par­til­le Home Guard hall, along Byvä­gen to Kåhög, whe­re you follow the foot­path along Säveån to Jon­se­red. After pas­sing through Jon­se­reds fabri­ker, you follow Bohus­le­den leg 4 from Jon­se­red to Kåsjön.

Just north of Kåsjön, Bohus­le­den leg 4 ends (and leg 3 begins). That is whe­re we have a check­point. Take the chan­ce to top up your flu­ids and rest a moment.

After the check­point, follow the pur­p­le mar­ker to the left as Bohus­le­den – now joi­ned by Vild­marks­le­den – turns off to the right. As you appro­ach Lil­la Kåsjön, turn right and follow the path up past Hind­tjär­nen and Präst­tjär­nen until you come out on Land­vet­ter­vä­gen. From the­re, you zig­zag through built-up stre­ets down to a bridge over Säveån and then follow Lex­by­vä­gen back to the Home Guard hall.
